WoW Gold Guide
One of the biggest problems on the Internet today is finding
a reputable wow gold guide.
Since there are so many hackers out there selling gold to
gamers, the search engines have blocked viewable sections that
talk about World of Warcraft gold.
You can still get through it by clicking on a link, but the
big places like Google will warn you before you start
searching.
Regardless, you were still able to make it here, so today I
want to talk about all the different ways you can make gold in
the game.
While I'm only going to put a handful of options up today,
you will be able to utilize each and every one of them in order
to boost your profits. Eventually you might even find a hidden
secret yourself that will give you a little more money.
Understanding the
Facade
When you first start out you won't be able to make all kinds of
gold like a wow gold guide might tell you. You know, the, "You
can make 100 gold in an hour" hype you see all the time.
What they don't tell you is that you have to be a higher
level in order to make that happen. So before you jump on the
bandwagon, let's talk about the best ways to make money when
you're just starting the game.
The
Beginning Levels
One of the best things to farm when you first start out is
cloth. It will be one of the first things you can sell in the
auction house and anyone who is trying to level their Tailoring
profession or First Aid will be looking to find cloth.
Unfortunately you won't find any until you roam outside your
beginning areas. However, when you start taking on level 6-9
characters, you will come across Linen Cloth.
These are usually found when looting any sort of Humanoid and
cave dwellers. The good news is you can sell a stack of 20 for
anywhere from 25-65 silver. Granted there are times it will be
more or less, but that depends on the fluctuation of the
Auction House market. In no time you will be able to earn your
first gold piece.
Great Beginner Auction House
Items
Once you start understanding a little more about the AH, it
will be easier to make gold. So instead of having you work the
trial and error process, here's a list of some of the areas
you'll want to focus on to earn easy gold when you're first
starting out.
* Linen Cloth
* Mana Potion
* Healing Potion
* Mining Ores
* Food for Cooking
Any of these five options will guarantee you make gold in the
AH when your in between levels 1-5. The only problem is you
won't know where to find it. Actually that's easy, all you have
to do is loot everything you kill.
If you drop anything that pertains to the list above, then
keep it and put it in the Auction House. If you loot something
that has a gray title, then you should sell those to a
vendor.
The money will be less, but you'll at least get something
and you won't be wasting your time in the AH.
Professions
Galore
One of the best parts to a wow gold guide is giving you the 411
on each profession. Sure you can make money by selling armor
and weapons, but the real money lies in the materials that each
profession needs.
Just like we talked about the Linen Cloth and Mining Ores in
the beginning, there are many more where those came from. So
keep this in mind when you're progressing through World of
Warcraft.
In fact, let's go over some of the professions
now.
WoW
Tailoring
Anyone who tailors will need as much cloth as they can get
their hands on. They will also need things like Jade, Wildvine,
Heart of the Wild, Star Ruby, various Pearls, and a host of
other mats.
For the right price you can make quite a mint in
this area.
WoW
Mining
Miners need different types of ores to smelt bars and sell
them in the AH. In the beginning it will be things like Copper,
Tin, and Iron. Then they will need more important ones like
Gold, Mithril, Truesilver, and Thorium. So if you come across
these, save them.
Enchanting
Anyone who takes on this profession needs things like small
and large brilliant shards, as well as various kinds of dust or
essence. Then of course things like orbs and rubies as well.
This is the one primary profession that could take a whole
article to explain, but you get the idea.
Engineering
One of the most expensive professions out there is
Engineering. In order for someone to up their level, they need
stones (solid, heavy, etc.), certain boots, elements, and a
host of other needs.
Then of course you have other professions like Blacksmithing,
Alchemy, Herbalism, Inscriptionist, Leatherworking, Skinning,
and Jewelcrafting that also require materials to make
everything they need. This is why it's so important to have a
wow gold guide because there are so many areas that need to be
covered.
Making Money with
Anything
There are so many different ways to make gold, you almost have
to focus on one or two things in order to get good results. If
you stretch yourself into too many directions, you might miss
something that cost you a few gold.
The truth of the matter is you can make gold several
different ways. Everything we listed above only allows you to
make it quicker. However, if you need a full list of things to
sell, you can find the AH categories below.
*Weapons
*Armor
*Container (bags)
*Consumable (potions, food, elixirs, scrolls, item
enhancements)
*Trade Goods (everything we talked about above)
*Projectile (bullets, arrows, etc.)
*Quiver (arrow bags, gun pouches)
*Recipes (patterns for professions)
*Reagents (materials for buffs, elixirs, etc.)
*Gem (sockets, jewelcrafting mats)
*Quests (books and other items that start quests)
In the end it's really going to come down to figuring out what
you want to do as your two primary professions. When you add
this in with all the trade goods you can sell to others, your
journey to making all kinds of gold will flourish.
